THE JOURNEYCaris Barlatier, DNP, PhD.
Caris has been working as a nurse in the Emergency Room and ICU for many years. She later decided to go back to school and become a Nurse Practitioner. Now she has gained her PhD. in Nursing. We are very proud of her. Caris is kind and cares about her patients. Also, she is very skilled and thorough in her Practice to provide exceptional care to patients. She now will be extending her knowledge, skill, and experience working with our clients.
Lisa, RN, HHC, Founder
Lisa has a passion to help others and provide quality care and service to her patients. Lisa (formally a Firefighter EMT-Paramedic), worked in various EMS/Critical Care/First Responder environments and later pursued her nursing degree. After working as a travel nurse in many emergency rooms, she decided to settle down and work close to home. Her kindness and care towards others have stood out most in her medical career as she gives credit to God for all of her endeavors. Now, she is able to extend her knowledge, skill, care, and compassion to all her clients.
Flavia, MA, Office Team Member
Flavia is one of our shining stars. She has years of experience working in the hospital setting with various Physicians and Nurses along with patients. She is a people person and tries her best to accommodate our clients as much as possible. She is devoted to her faith to God. Also, Flavia is bilingual as she speaks fluent Spanish. So, if you need bilingual service, Flavia will be able to provide this for you.
Dr, Maureen Zelinka, MD
Dr. Zelinka practices Internal Medicine and has former experience as an Emergency Room Physician. Also, she formerly served as a Medical Director for an Air Ambulance service. She stays quite busy as she has several practices along with caring for her patients at Lawnwood Regional Trauma Center. Now she serves as our Medical Director and we are very grateful to have her expertise and medical direction.
